SMALL BUSINESS SOLUTION

SMPP Client is a desktop application, which can be used  for example, by VAS operators (Value Added Service) to connect to SMSCs using SMPP 3.4 and HTTP protocols. It allows to send/receive messages as well as to receive delivery reports. SMPP client is acting as ESME (External Short Message Entity) and sends PDUs (Processing Data Units) to connect, send messages, disconnect, receive delivery reports etc. To send a batch of messages it requires a permanent connection with the SMPP server (running on the side of SMSC).

Solution also provides an opportunity to group different SMS channels into a single technological unit and set routing templates to manage the traffic between them.

FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION

SMS Messaging Client supports the following features:

1. Establish connections with SMSCs via SMPP 3.4 and HTTP protocols

2. Availability to set routing templates for incoming traffic by specifying the incoming channel and outgoing channels accordingly. This feature provides an opportunity to split incoming traffic and set route of the messages depending on message sender, message content, and message recipient.
3. Opportunity to create transformation rules for the message.  This feature allows to automatically tranform message depending on sender/recipient/body. Valid for both incoming and outgoing message.

4. Supports a wide range of various delivery acknowledgment messages

5. Supports connection between the messaging client and external Web resources/applications, e.g. to forward incoming messages to some URL of external Web resource, for further processing.

6. Provides an opportunity to accept messages from external resources and forward it to SMSC for further processing

6. Flexible and convenient billing system
